Irish female vocalist and songwriter took the UK by storm on X-Factor UK, she was "In" the music industry instantly, and has been making her own music for 10 years.
She recently released "It's Not That Deep" an EP called of a few covers that fans have been waiting on for, well, those last 10 years. In our conversation she explains why she waited til now to release these songs. ("A Place Called Home" and "Otherside" are originals).
Janet shares her story of near self destruction with alcoholism as a teenager, being anorexic, and bi-polar disorder, with brutal honesty, and an incredible lack of guilt. I have been a fan of hers for a few years now, and I have to say, the Irish women can just pull the thoughts from your soul like strings on a puppet. She is fun, witty, and 99.9% Irish, with just as much charm. (My love of redheads has NOTHING to do with my love of her music)
