This SmartCity movement is refreshing given what’s going on in today’s day and age. Wallstreet meets Silicon Valley and a relentless pursuit of independence and self-sufficiency is what defines this culture. Some of us don’t want to get fired up about politics. Some of us just want to focus on bettering the problems in our own lives before we go out helping others and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s nobody’s business or authority to say that makes someone a “bad person”. Instead of complaining these annoying gatekeepers into submission, we’re doing what we do best: maneuvering around them. The youth of this country needs leaders who find solutions with measurable goals, not ones that promote outrage. Is this movement pro left or pro right? Neither. We’re pro up. Upward growth and development. Seeking higher meaning and value always.
