Often we find ourselves in a situation that we didn't anticipate or perhaps never thought was possible.

We may be suddenly thrust into a group of people we disagree with.

It will likely happen this week, on Thanksgiving, or sometime over the following weeks leading up to Christmas.

Remember as you gather, or whatever your circumstance is, that the Lord’s hands are all over it, and He wants to conform you to the image of His beloved Son.

You can be reassured that no matter how challenging it may be, God has a purpose that goes beyond time and all things that happen will all work for good.

God's ways are not our ways. God's plans are not our plans.

No one knows what the coming days, weeks, and months hold.

We sit in a place of great uncertainty, and that is dangerous.

It’s never been more important to find your still, to be still in the Lord.

I felt called to share a few words of encouragement on this election day.

Stay strong, be still, and pray without ceasing.

What does it mean for Christians, followers of Jesus Christ?

Where does our allegiance lie?

How should Christians view politics?

What were the implications of the early Christians proclaiming Christ is Lord?

How does that differ from today's Christians?

What does this say about how Jesus was treated and ultimately put to death?

Just look at the other two men he was crucified next to. They were political insurgents or insurrectionists.

Jesus was considered to be the same. This is what it meant to go against the world system. That's the implication of the gospel of the Kingdom.
