The service for "PALM SUNDAY" is unique unto itself. It starts with the Procession and Blessing of the Palms and Processional Gospel (John 12:12-19). Then, to the Confession and Absolution which is followed by the Processional Gospel, John 12:12-19. Next comes The Confession and Absolution, Pray of the Day and scripture readings (Deuteronomy 32:36-39 and Philippians 2:5-11). The reading of the Passion Story, the focus for this day, comes from Luke 22:1 through 23:56. The service finishes with the Apostles Creed and Prayers for God's People.
