Just like you wouldn’t want to drink from a cup full of pickle juice and chocolate syrup, God wants our hearts to be clean so He can fill us with His Spirit! Based on Ephesians 5:18, this message teaches kids that what we’re filled with matters.
Key Verse: Ephesians 5:18b – “Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Big Idea: God wants to fill our hearts with His love but we have to pour out what doesn’t belong first.
