Today is Indigenous People’s Day in Taiwan, and our intern Angel (from the Amis Tribe in Hualien) is going to tell us about a food that reminds her of home!

Today’s menu: In our first course, we’ll discuss some of the strangest foods from our hometown that other people can’t handle. In our second course: the differences between Taiwanese snails and French escargot! Plus, Angel will tell us how her grandpa finds his snails. And in our third and final course, Angel’s mom has stir-fried some snails for us to sample. Plus, we’ll get some tips for making this dish!
