Break Forth Bible Church

Stir It Up

Listen Later

Pastor Jeremy shares Sunday in Glendive.

2020-2025 we will find ourselves in the right place, at
the right time, because this is our season of
supernatural increase, breakthrough, a flood of favor,
and the power of the Holy Spirit is going to reveal things
to us, we will see it clearly, it will be like never before.
Set your attention on the things above rather than the
things of this earth; wisdom will come, knowledge,
revelation, victory, deliverance, we will overcome in this
season like never before.

This season won’t be for everybody. Those who are
wanting to go to the next level in their relationship with
the Lord, the next level in their marriage, their family,
their business. Those people who want to be set free
from depression, anxiety, sickness, disease, and
addiction.

He’s implying here that we will need to do
something if we want to get involved in going to
this “next level”. 2 Kings 4

He said it to me like this “Little tweaks lead to big
peaks.”

He said it to me like this “We need to maintain
during the mundane.”

Mundane - lacking interest or excitement –
earthly in nature – regular, daily, routine

Luke 24:46-53 Jesus instructs those who
were present to wait for the promise, until
you are endued with power from on high.

1 Cor 15 Paul says over 500 saw the
resurrected Christ.

120 people were present on the day of
pentecost.

There were about 50 from the resurrection
until the day of pentecost. Jesus was present
for 40 of those days.

We have a tendency to lose interest when:
■ Things don’t go our way
■ We get bored
■ Things don’t happen on our timetable
■ Joseph had a dream at 17...that dream
didn’t include his brothers hating him,
selling him into slavery, being falsely
imprisoned, or forgotten...but it came
to pass, he saved his nation from
famine, they prospered in Egypt, & his
children received their grandfather's
blessing.

Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another in order to
stir up love and good works (NLT says motivate)
● Stir - to rouse to activity...or bring something to
motion
Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and
John, and perceived that they were uneducated and
untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that
they had been with Jesus. 14 And seeing the man who
had been healed standing with them, they could say
nothing against it. 15 But when they had commanded
them to go aside out of the council, they conferred
among themselves, 16 saying, “What shall we do to
these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been
done through them is evident to all who dwell in
Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

Paul shared his testimony of the Damascus road in Acts.
22, 26, & Gal 1. He simply shared what he had been
doing, the experience he had with God, and what he has
been doing since.
