A film that has everything (the acting chops of Kevin Bacon fresh off films like Apollo 13 and Wild Things, a horror plot conjured from the mind of great supernatural writer Richard Matheson, and a script written by one of the most successful screenwriters of all time) falls flat as possibly the worst film ever to have a 70% Rotten Tomatoes score. The hosts explore why that might be. This film should have been riding the wave of The Sixth Sense (released a mere month before) but Stir of Echoes lives on at the bottom of the $1 VHS bin.
