All we hear about are COVID tests, but we shouldn't forget that another range of tests has been around for decades: they are also very important and a lot less painful >> I am talking about STI tests ๐ฌ๐คธโโ๏ธ
For this episode, I've had the pleasure and honour to have an honest conversation with Rowdie Walden, the creator and host of 'Search Engine Sex' (https://open.spotify.com/show/1rVgYR9Lt4Kw1202uCLlSE). The second season is out now and the team was recently awarded 'Best Sex & Relationship Podcast in Australia' ๐ฅ
The reason why Rowdie and I decided to have a chat about getting tested for STIs is that the most common STIs are on - the - rise in Australia! ๐
And one of the reasons for this might be that can be really awkward talking about your sexual health with your doctors or even with your sexual partners. The stigma around STIs persists and we hope that this episode will help release some of that awkward tension.
โ ๏ธ Disclaimer: Whilst we did a ton of research for this episode, Rowdie and I are not doctors so please talk to a health professional if you have any question โ ๏ธ
