This week Rickey handed out the first 5 stupid elected officials awards of 2024. And he even threw in a stupid slap for honorable mention for someone in Ozark. Yep, he's back!

Rickey calls elected officials who think they are better than others nd are rude to county residents. Elected officials often forget they were elected by the people.

This week Rickey talks about Dothan native and former Lt Governor and Attorney General of Alabama, Bill Baxley, who was honored with a portrait of himself in the Houston County Courthouse. The portrait will hang next to his late father's. And a proposed industrial park for Houston County might be located in Dale County. Rickey wants to know why the industrial park on Stateline Road, at the Florida line is not being utilized?

Rickey focused on a certain Houston County Commissioner who recently signed giant fake presentation checks to local volunteer fire departments with his own name instead of representing the entire Houston County Commission.

Rickey is rather calm this week with Thanksgiving just around the corner. He talks about the former City of Dothan Police Chief, the Ashford officer who was ejected from his car, the Peanut Festival being over, the Ashford football banquet, elections in NW Florida and practicing anger management when dealing with a certain cellular phone provider.

This week Rickey gives credit to two Houston County Sheriff's dispatchers for their actions recently attempting to save the life of an 8 year old child. Sadly, the child died, but the two dispatchers did everything possible to bring resources together in a very tense situation.

Somebody called Rickey out about hogwash or being a hypocrite.

Rickey played an important role in helping end a multi-county chase which ended near the Dale and Coffee county line. And Rickey calls out those who pretend to be your friends but end up stabbing you in the back.

Rickey goes crazy over Houston County Commissioners complaining about Volunteer Fire Department personnel using county vehicles on personal time. Rickey says 2 of the commissioners are doing the same thing themselves. Plus jurisdiction between volunteer fire departments vs City of Dothan Fire Departments is a disaster waiting to happen.

Rickey moves the decimal bar up a few notches as he addresses a recent anonymous email where the writer inquired about deaths threats to Rickey. And he again calls out two Houston County Commissioners who are also members of the Houston County Sheriffs department.

Rickey speaks out against several things this week including the Hamas attacks on Israel and what media sources you can trust. In addition, mentions of a Saturday morning murder near the Tanda Room, officers who live outside the city and their response times and the passing of a former Alabama senator.
