It’s a Presidents Day edition of the fan morning show! Mike Evans, Mark Schlereth, and Chad Andrus look at the sports weekend and gear up for a potentially big rematch later in the week.

Lets take a deeper look at the NBA MVP conversation. At this point it feels like a given that Shai-Gilgeous Alexander is going to win the MVP. Are the reasons that everyone is looking past Jokic’s MVP case fair this year? Should we as fans care that Jokic isn’t going to win four MVPs in five years? Do voters who use “voter fatigue” as an excuse deserve to lose their vote? How important is stacking these awards for Jokic’s legacy? Is Jokic on course to be the Aaron Rodgers of the NFL? The leader of the dynasty that could have been?  The USA and Canada matchup was incredible over the weekend. Should we be concerned if the Avalanche players on the Canada team do not respond in a potential rematch? If we rooted for Serbia because of Jokic, why are we not rooting for Canada because of Cale and MacKinnon?
