Stolpersteine, the Stumbling stones commemorating Holocaust victims

If you live in or have ever travelled to a European city it is possible that you have accidentally stumbled upon a Stolperstein at some point. It is also likely that you haven’t, since these brass plaques, just under 10 square centimetres, are easy to miss among the cobblestones of the street.
These ‘stumbling stones’ are a way to commemorate Holocaust victims by placing their names, the date of their birth and the date of their liberation or death in front of their last homes. Listen to the podcast to find more.
