As we close out the year, I end with a wish. A wish that we can move past the idea that people can't smoke weed and drive! Can we please reconcile the fact that cannabis is a medicine with the desire to tax it? Sumptuary laws have a place and all, but they work best off science, not fear. There is some genuinely thought-provoking information across multiple independent studies. But even NIDA has to concede some points on this one! Science! Stoned drivers are out there on your way to work, while you head back from the park, or are just staring at the bumper of the car in front of you in traffic. We've always been here. And society has been better off for it. Let's break down some of those facts and talk about our future.
