The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted and exacerbated a heartbreaking and often hidden part of society: racism against Asian people. Much of the country has watched in horror as mass shootings, verbal and physical attacks, and ignorant comments finally begin to reach the media. This week I talked with two of my friends, Jenny and Vicki, about their experiences as Asian Americans and their thoughts. I appreciated their insight so much and I hope you will take their suggestions to heart.
