If someone doesn’t want to spend time with him, that’s okay. No more bending over backwards. No more sacrificing other friendships, time, or self-respect just to convince someone to care.

It sounds obvious on paper. For some people, it probably is.

But for anyone who’s ever overextended themselves trying to be liked… trying to earn a seat at someone else’s table… this one will hit home.

Growth isn’t always dramatic. Sometimes it’s just finally deciding that your dignity matters more than someone else’s approval.

It’s uncomfortable. It’s freeing. And it’s honest:

Not everyone is going to think you’re awesome — and that has to be okay.
