I found myself in a complain loop recently, where I was unsatisfied by my current circumstances and complained about incessantly. I found myself focusing solely on the negative in the situation and getting more and more unhappy. That negativity was even spilling into other parts of my life. Negative talk is contagious and while it feels cathartic it can keep your energy and focus off. The words we speak daily create our beliefs and our subconscious brings everything that supports our beliefs into our direct awareness. When we complain regularly, we develop negative thought patterns that can make us blind to the positives in our lives. Remember, what we focus on grows and multiplies.
