Community Power Building Manager, Dr. Crystal Ellis  (she/her/hers) is an organizer manager  within Freedom Inc. In addition to her work here, she is a writer and published author. Before coming to Freedom Inc. Dr. Ellis conducted research in Milwaukee, Nova Scotia, North Carolina and Washington D.C. Her research has focused on Black communities, Black liberation and community development.
