In this episode of the PW Podcast, I vent about how frustrating it is that creators and developers are increasingly being forced to disclose whether they used AI and how they used it.
I’m not against AI tools, I use them. But I don’t believe anyone should have to justify their process or check a box on platforms just to ship a product.
I compare it to not demanding a baker list their oven or a mechanic list their tools, arguing what should matter is the end result, not the method.
I also call out the elitism of people who brag about not using AI while shaming others.
This was sparked by my new game MooFO, where I used an AI-generated menu image because it was better than what I could create.
