How many of you know that friendships have expiration dates? Let me explain this word “friend” to you, friend last three letters spell “end”! Some may argue that it ends this way because your friendship will last to the end, but ironically the biblical text illustrates that people enter and leave your life in Seasons, it doesn’t say that in every season, you will experience life with the same people because we outgrow people, some become too toxic to our destiny, some are jealous of our elevation, some just rock with us because of the image webuphold. It is important to release people from their role of “friend” once their season ends. Everyone isn’t meant to reach the DESTINY with you! If your friend is not motivating you, pushing you, praying for you, willing to go to war for you, celebrating you, encouraging you, speaking life over you, and telling you the TRUTH no matter what, that friendship has ended! The Bible states in Romans 16:17-18 I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.
