The pattern throughout history is that prior to God releasing the wrath of His Holy anger through judgment, He reminds us of Who He is and where He sits. Isaiah saw the vision of The Almighty before declaring the judgement from Assyria and Babylon. Ezekiel saw His Glory prior to declaring judgement on God's people. Daniel saw The Ancient of Days on the throne prior to God's message of destruction to all the systems of humanity that rise in rebellion. For one final time God invites us to remember. We see the throne, we are reminded of His holiness, then we watch Him bring to fulfillment each and every thing He said He would in the destruction of sin and the elevation of His Kingdom.
