In this episode, we reflect on a realization that came during adoration: we often put people on pedestals and expect Christ-like perfection from them. Friends, leaders, parents, even spouses—we look to them for what only Christ can give. When they fall short, we’re hurt, confused, or bitter. But the truth is simple and freeing: we’re called to love people, not worship them. Only Christ deserves the pedestal.

When we put our expectations where they belong, we find peace. We learn patience with others. We see people as fellow pilgrims instead of saviors. And we let Christ be Christ.
