Stop the Stigma: Testing Anxiety Among Undergraduate Students

Listen Later

Stop the Stigma: Testing Anxiety is a podcast created by Senior Nursing Students, Mary Fossaceca, Alyssa Nolan, and Kylie Zerbe. They hope to spread awareness about the struggle students face who experience testing anxiety and appropriate actions to take to manage it such as positive self-talk, breathing exercises, and outside resources right on campus. In this podcast they interviewed an undergraduate student who experiences test anxiety and explains her personal experience as a college student and resources provided to her. Afterwards, Dr. James Vines, Nursing Student Success and Retention Advisor, provides helpful insight as to how the University can help and provide accommodations to students in need.
