Narration: STOP TRUSTING MEN
There is a warning in the Spirit today…
A call back to the right foundation.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 17:5:
“Cursed is the one who trusts in man,
who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose heart turns away from the Lord.”
This is not about hatred —
it is about alignment.
Because when your confidence
is built on human strength,
your peace becomes fragile.
But when your trust is in God,
your soul becomes unshakable.
Scripture reminds us again in Psalm 118:8:
“It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in humans.”
People can love you
and still misunderstand you.
They can promise you
and still disappoint you.
They can stand with you today
and walk away tomorrow.
That is why God never asked you
to make people your refuge —
He asked you to make Him your dwelling place.
And listen to the reality spoken in Micah 7:5–6:
“Do not trust a neighbor;
put no confidence in a friend…
for a son dishonors his father,
a daughter rises against her mother…
a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.”
This is not to create fear —
it is to create wisdom.
Because when you understand
the limits of men,
you will stop expecting from people
what only God can give.
So today, shift your trust.
Release the pressure you placed on humans
to be your savior, your source, your security.
Let God be your confidence.
Let God be your refuge.
Let God be the One you lean on
when every other support feels uncertain.
Stop trusting men as your foundation —
and start trusting God as your anchor.
Because those who put their trust in the Lord
will never be put to shame.
