Every once in a while, I turn my attention to stories from my broadcast journalism career, memories that remain vivid years later.  That is certainly the case for December 19, 1995, a night at Madison Square Garden 30 years ago that was easily one of the most dramatic in the building’s history.  I still think of this night three decades later.  And I smile.
