Oumar Coulibay, teacher and a WV Mali Partner, in conversation with Soumba, Child Leader and Abdoulaye Diallo, Imam (faith leader), from Mali, take us through World Vision Mali’s journey of advocacy and campaign efforts of how they were able to stop child marriages in Mali and how partnering with faith leaders and through empowered Child participation and voice were they able to legalize marriage after 18 and how they were able to restore girls’ right to education and other rights by addressing together Mali’s various child protection issues.
