Classic

This is a beautiful book to own. The illustrations are works of art- literally , and of course, the stories are classic. This book is nice enough to leave out on the coffee table.

Good, but dated

I have to say I did not get all the way through this. I found the author's prose to be irritatingly stilted, particularly the dialogue. The stories however are magnificent, and I look forward to exploring them more in another edition.

BAck to my roots

A great collection of tales, 1001 nights is for everyone, kids to adults who like reading adventure based stories.
