The leaves dancing on the tree?

In green and gold, they twirl and sway,

A silent ballet, day by day.

Do you wonder why they're here,

Rustling softly, year to year?

Each leaf tells a story new,

Of sun and rain, and morning dew.

Do they whisper secrets old,

In shades of bronze, in autumn's hold?

Or do they dream in winter's sleep,

Under snow, so white and deep?

Do you ever really look,

At nature's pages, like a book?
