This is a story about my dad’s immigration journey. This story starts in Russia in about 1988. Living in Russia at the time was hard and dreadful. My grandparents (my dad’s parents) decided it was time to leave Russia. For my dad, that means: leave school, bye-bye friends, adios home town, because it was time to go to America!
