We're back after a week off from recording! Ben and Dave discussed fear this week. Is it ever good, and what how should we deal with in when feel gripped by it?

Today, Dave and Ben talk about hope and trust, why we should have a certain faith in God and his kingdom, and how different groups, most notably African-Americans, have had that 'Blessed Assurance' as part of their theology.

Taking inspiration from the Bible, via Bob Dylan, Dave and Ben discuss who we serve and the wholeheartedness with which we do so.

Our discussion this week looks at the renewed lockdown in the UK, and we share our feelings about it while reflecting on how we might face the next few months, with a particular eye towards Romans 12 and Patience, Perseverance and Hope.

In the Christmas to New Year 'lull', Dave and Ben discuss new year's resolutions and how we can be full of good intentions but sometimes become frustrated with ourselves — and how we might be more fruitful in future.

Amidst lockdowns, restrictions, loneliness and despair, we've done something a bit different this week. In a more relaxed format, we talk about things that have helped us so far, as well as what the message of the birth of Jesus means for us.
