Being far away from home is difficult. In fact, it hurts. And it can cause so much inner pain that it can make you feel like you're ill. In this episode, we have the story of a college student who went far away to attend a university in place she always hoped, doing exactly what she hoped to do. But what she didn't expect, was just how much she would miss being home.

Most of us are accustomed to growing up with our biological families. And it seems that we are always fascinated when we find out that someone was adopted that we never knew was adopted in the first place. In this episode, we have the story of Alek, a teenager who has gone through this very same experience among a few others.

Three short stories that focus on inspiring the listener to live a better story.

There are people who draw others in with such awe and wonder with their words and actions. They can gain such power from their dedicated followers in a heartbeat and are thought of as such fantastic people. But what if the one they are following is not actually all that good? What if this person is actually the bad guy?

Last week we looked at the stories of those who were affected by bullies. This week we have a story of someone who was a bully and how they've overcome their past to change from their ways.

Everyone in one way or another has dealt with bullies. In this episode we have 2 stories of those who have been bullied. One of a man who was bullied nearly 80 years ago (yet it still affected him long after). And the other about a 13 year old who has overcome being both bullied and being the bully.

Asa Jennings, the man who saved 350,000 lives in a week and 1.2 million in 10 months during the aftermath of the Turkish-Greek war in 1922. You could argue that since his story is in fact true, and not fiction, he just might be a bigger hero than the fictionalized ones found in comic books.

This is Ronald Johnson's story. One of ridicule, of sadness and of an otherworldly experience stemming from an unidentified flying object landing on his Iowa farm in the 1960s. It's one thing to go through something unbelievable like this. It's something totally different to share it without anticipating the consequences.

Growing up in a single parent family is never a life anyone intends on having. It's difficult, complicated and challenging every day. We have stories from 2 people that have gone through this situation. One, now a grown woman, has overcome it, the other, a teenage boy, is still growing through it.
