Storying History: ‘Not Another Boring History Podcast’

‘Not Another Boring History Podcast’

In this episode of Storying History  we delve into where our history comes from. Of course, ‘the past’ may seem like the obvious response, but we’re instead thinking about various issues such as:

  • Who writes history?

  • How do these people write history?

  • What is the role of perspectives in telling history?

  • Basing our lively discussion on the texts Jaguarman, We Slaves of Suriname and Ik zeg toch sorry, we’ll be giving you a unique (and not boring!) insight into the Netherlands’ dark colonial past.
