Straight From The Off welcomes Gerard Smith to the Podcast. Ged was a midfielder who could do everything, and his presence in central midfield for Pineapple and APH in particular brought much success to those teams. APH had a fantastic run of league title wins in the Liverpool County Premier League and Gerard was the Captain of that great side. He tells us of his battles against Waterloo Dock & Allerton and playing semi-pro football. Various trials at clubs and enjoying games of football in the streets of Dingle with Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler.
