Straight From The Off welcomes Joe Gibiliru Snr to the Podcast. Joe has had a long and distinguished career in amateur and non league football gathering lots of trophies along the way, he has played for Waterloo Dock, Precscot Cables, Marine, St Helens and Knowsley United amongst others and went on to manage at Prescot, Lucas Sports and St Helens Town. On a Sunday he was a player and manager of the great Nicosia sides that won two FA Sunday Cups in the 90’s and 2000’s. He now works for Liverpool County FA. He tells us his favourite goals, games and all about the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times.
