Straight From The Off welcomes Joey Kelly to the Podcast. Joey has had a long and distinguished career in non league football winning almost everything possible along the way, he has played for Southport, Burscough, Bootle, Prescot Cables, South Liverpool, Knowsley United amongst others and went on to manage at Vauxhall motors nd Curzon Ashton. On a Sunday he was part of the great Dingle Rail side of the 1980's moving on to Aigburth Arms and eventually Almithak where Joey scored in an impressive FA Sunday Cup win. He tells us his favourite goals, games and all about the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times.
