Sully was a lightning fast attacker with a keen eye for goal, his performances for APH and Mainstay earned him a crack at the paid ranks with Stalybridge Celtic along with his pal Lee Trundle. His infectious appetite for the game has seen him play for a number of well renowned clubs in the city including Waterloo Dock, Page Celtic, Canada and Old Bank.
