For the one-year anniversary of StraightTalk.Live and in celebration of Earth Day 2021, we are proud to welcome a distinguished group of young global climate leaders for a panel discussion on the environment and climate change. Together, we will discuss "net-zero" from the varying perspectives of our panelists, who represent climate activism, eco-startups, and eco-tech initiatives. Questions we'll dive into include:

✔️How can we actually meet the net-zero goal set by the UN and world leaders? 

✔️What are the viable innovations and solutions to help us get there? 

✔️What can we do at a societal, government, and individual level to make a difference?

About the panelists:

Beth Eden is an independent sustainability impact and engagement consultant and the Cofounder of the Impact Alliance.

Luna Abadia is the Founder and Executive Director of the Effective Climate Action Project.

Flaviu Cipcigan, PhD, is a researcher and strategist at IBM Research, using artificial intelligence to accelerate the discovery of new materials for carbon capture.

Lore Van Onsem is a climate activist and the author of If Nature Had a Voice. 

Vivek Badiani, PhD is the Co-founder eCO-SENSE. He is working toward a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Cambridge.
