This week on Strange Talk, Alyx, Vayne, and Ginelle blast off into another round of Weird News from around this spinning blue marble (and slightly above it).
We’re starting in orbit, talking radiation sickness risks for future space missions and what that means for anyone bold enough to try living off-Earth. Then, we come crashing back down to the ocean where someone thought tossing a pile of old tires into the water was a good idea (spoiler: it was extremely not) to build an artificial reef.
From there, we dive further into the underwater octopus neighborhood scientists are calling Octlantis. We also take a look at which U.S. cities are safest and least safe for trick-or-treating (Halloween logistics matter, okay?), discuss witchcraft happening near a governor’s home in Mexico, and wrap things up with our Hexmas costume plans. This year? We’re going full Dickens ghosts: Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Interpretations may vary...dramatically, and Vayne's may or may not involve a zipline.
Come hang out with us for the strange, the spooky, and the “wait, that’s real?” moments that make reality more fun than fiction.
Tune in Thursday 9–10pm ET
