🤝 We also need to change the vocabulary of this bilateral relationship and possibly think of changing it from the 3 C’s (Cricket, Curry & the Commonwealth) to the 3 E’s (Economy, Energy & Education).

🏏 Cricket still plays a major role in acting as a tool for diplomacy and friendship between the 2 countries. That’s why the theme of the meeting between the 2 Prime Ministers recently was also kept as “Friendship Through Cricket”.

✨ According to Amit ji, soft power alone doesn’t form the basis of any relationship. And that’s where Governments play a major part in building those critical partnerships on defence & security, Economic Cooperation & Trade Agreement, and education. The relationship needs to be multi-faceted and not just rely on those 3 words.
