Brass and street band festivals are back for fall 2021! Hear about some confirmed and expected events and how you can attend and support the return of live street music.

On the eve of the 2021 virtual Golden Fest, we're rebroadcasting an episode from 2018 that takes an inside look at the annual Zlatne Uste Golden Festival, with interviews from key members of ZU and the festival plus attendees and music from some of the many bands that played the 2018 festival. Stick around at the end of the show for a new track from the Brass Queens, a medley of holiday favorites.

This week the podcast returns from hiatus with a preview of the upcoming HONK! United virtual festival. With music from Brass Queens, Bandanica Granada Nicaragua, Cimarrona La Favorita, Unidos do Swing, Calango Careta, plus a field recording of a recent protest in New York City.
