No matter what type of self-protection training that you're looking for out there, unless there's some experience to back it up, most training runs the risk of being a little more than hypothesis or worse, really bad advice that could get you hurt or even killed if you had to put that training into use.
The self-defense industry is filled with instructors who have never actually been in a fight before. And don't even get me started on the prepping space.
However, for civilians who own a firearm, and especially for those who carry a handgun for everyday protection, there's incredible value in seeking out information from victims of real-life attacks to do an after action review of the lessons that they learned from their encounter.
