Many studies show that low volume, high-intensity interval training (HIIT) can improve aerobic capacity and cardio-metabolic health. Indeed, there is increasing evidence to suggest that shorter and more intense exercise may be just as good as, if not better than longer and less intense workouts such as traditional aerobic sessions.
