God says to Joshua, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. In other words, God's saying I have commanded you to be strong; draw strength from the Book of Life. Draw power from the Word of God. I know there are enemies in front of you, I know what the doctor said, I know the mortgage is due, and bills are piling up, but I have given you the written Word so that you would have the strength and courage to face your giants and every situation in life.

Everyone expected Joshua to be strong and face the opposition head-on. But God told Joshua to be strong and courageous, which means even Joshua needed encouragement and strength. I'm not sure what you're facing today, but you've been strong, and everyone expects you to be strong, but God wants you to draw strength from his Word. You've got help from the Word, the written Word of God. The apostle Paul said, we are more than conquerors through him (Christ) who loves us; Christ is the Word. Our strength comes from the Word of God in the Book of Life.

Family, strength is available for you today in the written Word of God. Won't you draw strength from the Book of Life?

Wherever you find yourself today, dive into the Book of Life, the written Word of God. Just one verse, this verse, meditate on it today, and I believe strength will locate you in your situation today.
