Mark Rippetoe is an American strength training coach and author. He has published a number of books and peer-reviewed articles. He has a BS in Geology with a minor in Anthropology. Mark laughs and says it's embarrassing that I am 6'3" 175 lbs and says I'm 50 pounds underweight and can be dead lifting over 300 pounds in 6 months if I train effectively.
