A valuable book.
I am by nature a very stressful man, so that is the reason why I picked this book up. I was a little bit sceptical towards reading it at the beginning, but I am very happy that I bought it. It provided me with great value. The book contains many tips and tricks on how to deal with stress. I recommend this book to anyone who is suffering from a lot of stress because this book has the power to reduce it. It certainly did for me.
Insightful look on stress in our lives.
After buying this book I dove straight into reading. This book explores whether or not stress is truly something negative in your life. The idea is that our perception of Stress has a huge impact on how it affects us. This is explored not only on a mental level on a chemical level, looking into what chemicals in our body are triggered through stress, and how they affect us. There is also many avenues in how to deal with stress that you may not have thought of. From common changes in mentality, to meditation, mindfulness and herbal remedies. While I'm sure there are longer books out there which go to even further depths, I found this book to be a great read informative read. It brings up the supporting science and background, but doesn't go so far that you loose sight of what you reading about.
Gives a different perspective
Great book! It's short but very informative and what I really love about it is that it will give you a different perspective about stress. Stress may be the enemy but we can use it in a way that will be beneficial to us. This book explains everything about stress, what it is, how you get it, how you can avoid it and how you can make it work for you. It also has suggestions on what you can do when you are stressed out. It's a fun read so I'll definitely recommend it to everyone as we all experience stress from time to time.
