Duke Foxx
This week on Stretching the Truth, I’m joined by Duke — dancer, personal trainer, former comic book YouTuber, and unapologetic lover of Speedos and spandex.
From ballet tights to diving briefs, from teenage message boards to wearing bodysuits while training clients, Duke’s journey into spandex culture is honest, funny, and very relatable.
We cover:
• Growing up in Ireland and the UK with a ballet background
• Discovering Speedos as the gateway into spandex
• Early Speedo message boards and online communities
• Buying his first bright yellow cycling skinsuit
• The crossover between athletic gear and fetish gear
• Feeling sexy in gear and embracing objectification
• Wearing branded bodysuits while working as a personal trainer
• Rebuilding a collection after moving countries
• Why people staring at you isn’t necessarily a bad thing
One of my favorite moments from this episode:
“If people are looking at you, that means they’re interested. The average person doesn’t stare at something they don’t like.”
That mindset shift alone is worth listening to the episode.
This conversation is about confidence. It’s about comfort in your own body. It’s about pushing outside your comfort zone just enough to grow. And, of course, it’s about celebrating spandex.
