This video emphasizes the crucial role of `self love` as the foundation for extending care and affection to others. By prioritizing `self care` and proactive well-being, individuals can achieve significant `self improvement` and foster `personal growth`. The discussion explores `how to practice self love` to become your best self, allowing you to share that love with others effectively. 🚀
Zee Clarke, teaches Breathwork techniques, the art of being Resilient and Self Care. She's the author of Black People Breathe, a Harvard MBA that went from leading teams at Fortune 500 companies and startups in Silicon Valley to teaching mindfulness and breathwork. Why?
After experiencing a number of race related challenges, from racial profiling and harassment by the police to microaggressions in the workplace, she realized that mindfulness and breathwork were much more powerful outside of the yoga studio and in the context of our everyday lives.
Trained in India, Zee leverages her toolkit of breathwork, meditation, yoga, sound healing, and Reiki, to ensure that all people, especially people of color, have the stress management and resilience tools to thrive despite any challenges that might arise at work and in life.
In this enlightening conversation, with Zee Clarke explore the journey of self-discovery, the impact of family background on personal development, and the importance of mindfulness and breathwork in overcoming trauma and workplace discrimination. Zee shares her experiences of growing up in a strict household, navigating the pressures of achievement, and ultimately choosing self-care and personal growth. The discussion culminates in the introduction of Zee's book, 'Black People Breathe', which offers mindfulness practices tailored for people of color.
