This week's review is a sequel to the Somnium Files. Set between the first two games, it mixes Somnium and visual novel stuff with the puzzle solving of the Nonary Games. Having never played Suikoden, I was quite impressed with how breezy and fun the games were. The 2nd game improved so much the overall package was a good result. The main issue was character recruitment being awkward and sometimes unnecessary or limited in character investment. Time to head back to the courtroom with Phoenix, Apollo, and Athena. The first game for the 3DS, Dual Destinies was an interesting change to the formula, focusing on a female lead storywise.
