This week's anime review talks about a fascinating drama about humans who exhibit the powers to change the seasons. The agents and guardians all share interesting character interplay, while the villains take a while to establish their motives.Podcast Schedule (Based on Saturday Upload Dates)October 31st: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionNovember 7th: Ace Attorney: Spirit of JusticeNovember 14th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionNovember 21st: Goodbye, LaraNovember 28th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionDecember 5th: Kirby Star AlliesDecember 12th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionDecember 19th: Scrapped PrincessDecember 26th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionAnime: Agents of Four Seasons: Dance of SpringYear: 2026Studio/License: Crunchyroll/Wit StudioThumbnail Commissioned by Nekotachin from vgen.comhttps://vgen.co/NekotaChinAgents of Four Seasons Logohttps://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT-aFhMptnnQAJqD_o43PAygNweklTy12hMl0GmNIOcYm0EPUB1KLko57k&s=10For more Citizen Strife content, here is some socials Gameplay Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQR4uewfRZttDxzUdkkZ2LwPodcast Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC59ybzlsnruIOmVwUHirAjQTwitch Channel: https://www.twitch.tv/citizen_strifePatreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/citizenstrife

This week's review is a frustrating look back on a game I wanted to love, but grew to get annoyed by. Dragon Quest games are usually breezy or at least whimsical affairs. But the story and dungeon design left this feeling way longer than necessary. At least the QoL improvements in this version made for a fully customizable difficulty experience.Podcast Schedule (Based on Saturday Upload Dates)October 17th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionOctober 24th: Agents of Four Seasons: Dance of SpringOctober 31st: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionNovember 7th: Ace Attorney: Spirit of JusticeNovember 14th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionNovember 21st: Goodbye, LaraNovember 28th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionDecember 5th: Kirby Star AlliesDecember 12th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionGame: Dragon Quest VII ReimaginedYear: 2000/2026Developer/Publisher: Square EnixThumbnail Commissioned by Nekotachin from vgen.comhttps://vgen.co/NekotaChinDragon Quest 7 Logohttps://fyre.cdn.sewest.net/dragon-quest-hub/68acd4539a11ffbbc7818b98/logo-x2-17567472564349968.png?quality=85&width=3840For more Citizen Strife content, here is some socials Gameplay Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQR4uewfRZttDxzUdkkZ2LwPodcast Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC59ybzlsnruIOmVwUHirAjQTwitch Channel: https://www.twitch.tv/citizen_strifePatreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/citizenstrife

This is a continuation of the Danganronpa Trilogy. If you haven't watched the episode on the first two, check out episodes 102 and 168Xenosaga III finishes up a frustratingly fascinating trilogy of games in a frustratingly fascinating way. A lot lays at the feet of the good and bad way they portrayed Shion as the main character in this game. It sucks, because everything else about the game felt snappy, self-assured, and chock full of things to do.Podcast Schedule (Based on Saturday Upload Dates)September 12th: Xenosaga 3: Also Sprach ZarathustraSeptember 19th: Summer 2026 Anime DiscussionSeptember 26th: Anime I Can Re-Watch/Anime I Can't Watch AgainOctober 3rd: Summer and Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionOctober 10th: Dragon Quest 7 ReimaginedOctober 17th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionOctober 24th: Agents of Four Seasons: Dance of SpringOctober 31st: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionNovember 7th: Ace Attorney: Spirit of JusticeNovember 14th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionGame: Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach ZarathustraYear: 2006Developer/Publisher: Monolith Soft/Namco Bandai GamesThumbnail Commissioned by Nekotachin from vgen.comhttps://vgen.co/NekotaChinXenosaga 3 Logohttps://cdn2.steamgriddb.com/logo/789334de6daa80d83ab4acb6a4bf5ac7.pngFor more Citizen Strife content, here is some socials Gameplay Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQR4uewfRZttDxzUdkkZ2LwPodcast Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC59ybzlsnruIOmVwUHirAjQTwitch Channel: https://www.twitch.tv/citizen_strifePatreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/citizenstrife

This week's anime review talks about a dopey romance show that doesn't take itself too seriously. Sometimes, you just need an easygoing show that isn't too hardcore that doesn't have many stakes. This one is about a dorky teen going from Tokyo to Hokkaido to transfer schools. There, he learns about the prefecture, the sights, the sounds, and three specific school girls he spends time with. It's nothing amazing, and the dialogue does get a bit "touristy" in spots, but it's fine enough if you need a 12-13 episode show to kill some time.Podcast Schedule (Based on Saturday Upload Dates)September 5th: Summer 2026 Anime DiscussionSeptember 12th: Xenosaga 3: Also Sprach ZarathustraSeptember 19th: Summer 2026 Anime DiscussionSeptember 26th: Anime I Can Re-Watch/Anime I Can't Watch AgainOctober 3rd: Summer and Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionOctober 10th: Dragon Quest 7 ReimaginedOctober 17th: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionOctober 24th: Agents of Four Seasons: Dance of SpringOctober 31st: Fall 2026 Anime DiscussionAnime: Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!Year: 2024Studio/License: Crunchyroll/Silver Link/BladeThumbnail Commissioned by Nekotachin from vgen.comhttps://vgen.co/NekotaChinHokkaido Gals Logohttps://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/rPbGiRGU6FA02195o3f3iGaZ0Ot.pngFor more Citizen Strife content, here is some socials Gameplay Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQR4uewfRZttDxzUdkkZ2LwPodcast Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC59ybzlsnruIOmVwUHirAjQTwitch Channel: https://www.twitch.tv/citizen_strifePatreon Page: https://www.patreon.com/citizenstrife
