The R.C.M.P. ship St. Roch now resides at the Vancouver Maritime Museum. But in its day, it was the first ship to circumnavigate North America. For its 90th birthday, the Maritime Museum invited a string quartet and a selection of emerging B.C. composers to write music about its historic voyage.
