It is so easy to slide into the frame of mind that says "look at what I've done". It's just as easy to play the comparison game with what we bring to the table vs. other people. "I'm such a good Christian...look at me." But the truth is we are far away from God. Our sin separates us. When the focal point of worship shifts from the cross to us, there is a problem. The message is corrupted, and our hope is lost. Jesus is the hero of every worship service!
