A man was in Kansas City on a business trip when he suffered a sudden stroke and collapsed into a snow bank! Luckily his wife, who was on the phone with him from more than 100 miles away, recognized the signs of the stroke. She knew exactly what to do and what to tell dispatchers when she called 9-1-1 to get him the quickest care. The surgeon who cared for him says her quick actions were just as important as the life saving procedure he performed.
